Train your body to want food earlier in the day

A Smart Approach to a Food Game Plan

Train your body to want food earlier in the day and more often starting with a healthy breakfast to rev up your metabolism. If you are not used to eating breakfast it may take a few weeks to get used to eating at this time but it will happen, just start with something small like Greek yogurt which is high in protein and will keep you feeling full.

Try having a good breakfast, mid-morning snack, healthy lunch, mid-afternoon snack, this way by the time it's dinner you will have been well nourished and most likely be satisfied eating lighter by the end of the day when your metabolism slows down naturally.

When it comes to meals and snacks concentrate on complex carbohydrates, lean protein, fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats such as nuts. This approach to a food game plan will stabilize blood sugar, boost mood, rev up metabolism, prevent over eating and limit us from making poor food choices.

If your not eating enough earlier in the day you will find by the end of the day that you will be famished, this is when we tend to over-eat, this is also when our metabolism naturally slows down. A perfect set up for weight gain. Maintaining a healthy metabolism and blood sugar is essential for weight control and preventing Type II diabetes. Type ll diabetes can lead to heart disease and strokes. Follow my food game plan and you will be on your way to better health.
