Cynthia Pomeroy Lynch and Daniel Henry Adams were both enjoying a lovely brunch in Marin County when by chance their paths crossed. With an apparent instant spark between them, Daniel invited Cynthia to the opera in San Francisco. Cynthia said yes to the invite and five months later she said yes again, to Daniel’s proposal.
Minister Barbara Hamilton-Holway officiated at the ceremony at the UC Berkeley Faculty Club Garden, where the reception followed.
The bride graduated from Miss Porter’s School, Colorado College and the American Conservatory Theatre for Acting. Cynthia is a teacher for the Reed Union School District in California.
The groom, son of Peter and the late Mary Alice Adams of New York, graduated from Andover Academy, UC Berkeley and Oakland College of Law. Dan is a police lieutenant for the Albany California Police Department.
Following a honeymoon in Banff National Park Canada, the couple returned home to El Cerrito, California
