James Beard Foundation Nominates Hey Bartender

In an announcement Tuesday, the James Beard Foundation named HEY BARTENDER as one of the nominees for Best Special/Documentary.

Known as the Oscars of the food world, the James Beard Awards cover all aspects of the industry: chefs and restaurateurs, cookbook authors and food journalists, restaurant designers and architects, and more. The James Beard Awards are the highest honor for food and beverage professionals in America.

The awards ceremony will take place on April 24th at Chelsea Piers. Hosted by Carla Hall. 4th Row Films' HEY BARTENDER is a feature documentary film that tells the story of the rebirth of the bartender and the comeback of the cocktail.

HEY BARTENDER is directed by Douglas Tirola, produced by Susan Bedusa, and co-produced by Danielle Rosen. The film is currently available on Showtime, Netflix, and iTunes.
