Todd and Meg first met at a party of a mutual friend and quickly learned they had many friends in common, had attended Brunswick and Greenwich Academy respectively and that their families were acquaintances in the 70s. So it stands to reason that when they started dating, it felt like they had known each other their whole lives. After seven years together, Todd proposed on Meg’s birthday while out on a whale watching expedition. Twelve weeks later, Reverend Richard DenUyl Jr. officiated the ceremony at the Belle Haven Club where a reception followed.
The bride, daughter of Philip and Susan Drake, graduated from Greenwich Academy, SUNY Stonybrook, Northwestern University and New York University. Meg is a learning specialist and the founder of the Proactive Educational Assistance Program.
The groom, son of Wilfred and Marnie Vallely of Greenwich, graduated from Brunswick School and Washington & Jefferson College. Todd works for Vallco Corporation in Old Greenwich.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Lyford Cay, Bahamas, before returning home to Old Greenwich.
