Southport has a new home store on Pequot Avenue. Located across from the Post Office, Lattice House, owned by resident Christopher Philip, sells new and classic rediscovered items for the home, the garden and your dog. Philip brings the concept of the “sporting life” to Southport with elegant barware and accessories for men, items for the horse, dog and sailing enthusiast, and classic pieces that fit into both traditional and modern homes, and he also offers a wide range of hostess gifts that go beyond the standard candle. Since 40 percent of the inventory is one-of-a-kind items sourced from around the country and abroad, the inventory is constantly changing, and Lattice House has partnered with Southport Galleries to feature contemporary art by local artists on a monthly basis.
Lattice House is also closely associated with Parker & Company Interior Design, which is housed in a separate but connected office. With a style he terms “contemporary prep,” Parker Rogers has created classically tailored designs in the coastal locations of Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket and Palm Beach as well as all over Fairfield County. Parker & Company and Lattice House are excited to be Southport’s first one-stop total design destination. The store is open every day except Mondays, which are by appointment only.
