Be Present

Sure there are plenty of stores and boutiques around town where you’ll find gifts. But there’s a long-standing tradition in town that really helps get us in the holiday shopping spirit every year, the holiday boutique. These pop-up shopping experiences are a lot like Santa on Christmas Eve—they come and go pretty quickly, so be sure to mark your calendars.

You’ll find hundreds of unique vendors peddling their wares—everything from fabulous furs and unique jewels to old-fashioned toys and kitschy hostess gifts. Most of the vendors are independent shops, so the offerings are as unique as the personalities on your list. And the best part? A portion of the proceeds of every sale benefits the host charity. If that doesn’t score you a spot on the nice list, we don’t know what will.
