Walking Tour of Greenwich Ave & Municipal Center

As part of our “Discover Greenwich” Program, celebrating the Greenwich Historical Society’s 90^th anniversary, we welcome you to join us on this first in a series of guided walking tours that take a step back in time and illuminate the stories of our community that have created the vibrant town we know today.

Explore the Historic Greenwich Municipal Center with a guided walking tour down Greenwich Avenue. The tour will cover eight buildings and monuments erected in the span of 46 years, from 1892-1938, transforming pastureland directly into a distinct municipal center without an intermediate residential or commercial phase of development.
