Delallo, Santo A.
Nestled away in the heart of West Norwalk, yet just one mile from U.S. Route 1 in Darien and two miles from downtown New Canaan, lives a unique couple with a rare home-office dental practice. Dr. Santo DeLallo (Sonny) and his wife, Kathy, a dental hygienist, have practiced together in what was the three-car garage at their home on West Norwalk Road for the last 25 years.
The two natives of Norwalk, met in middle school and then went their own ways after graduating from Brien McMahon High School in 1979. Sonny and Kathy were reacquainted at their 10-year high school reunion, got engaged and then married, bought a home and set up shop in Norwalk one year later. They say they never really planned for it to happen this way; it was more of a natural progression.
Dr. DeLallo, who graduated from Boston College in 1983 with a Bachelor of science degree, and received a D.M.D. degree from the University of Connecticut in 1987, says he could not imagine having it any other way. He believes that honesty and trust are the keys to building a successful dental practice.
The numerous three and even four generations of families being treated by Dr. Sonny and his staff are a testament to this belief. All aspects of General Dentistry, including preventive, cosmetic, and over twenty years experience in implant dentistry, are performed with care and competence in this unique and friendly home office.
